Expected new collaboration between the legendary French composer Philippe Sarde and the director Bertrand Tavernier, after seventeen years without working together. His previous collaborations includes success films like “La fille d’Artagnan”, “L.627”, “Coup de Torchon” or “Le Juge et l’Assassin”: true classics in the European cinema.
For this movie -adapted from the classic novel by Madame de La Fayette-, Sarde has composed a tragic, energic and powerfull score has been recorded in the pretigious Abbey Road Studios and performed by The Pro Arte Orchestra of London under the baton of Nic Raine.
